Jacob & Co., renowned for its avant-garde approach to haute horologerie, has partnered with Indian cinema icon and philanthropist Salman Khan to introduce a limited-edition timepiece: “The World if Yours”. This collaboration represents a thoughtful converge of craftsmanship, cultural heritage, and technical innovation.

Design and Technical Innovation

“The World Is Yours” features a distinctive three-dimensional doned dial that evokes the form of a globe, underscoring the watch’s core functionality: an independently adjustable dual time-zone mechanism. Departing from conventional dual–time watches – where the secondary time display is mechanically linked to the primary – Jacob & Co. design permits separate setting of hour and minute hands. This precision proves especially practical for nonstandard offsets, such as India’s GMT +5:30 time zone.

Heritage-Inspired Aesthetics

The timepiece’s color palette draws inspiration from the Indian flag, with subtle saffron and green accents integrated into its dial and strap. A laser-engraved world map adorns the case alongside a discreet inscription honoring Salman Khan’s father, Salim Khan, reflecting the personal significance of the collaboration. Khan’s initials (“S.K.”) are positioned at six o’clock on the lower dial, and each watch is presented in a bespoke turquoise box – a detail personally selected by Khan.

Priced at $34,000 and produced in a strictly limited series, “The World Is Yours” exemplifies Jacob & Co.’s commitment to artisanal excellence. Every component undergoes meticulous hand assembly and finishing, ensuring both aesthetic refinement and mechanical reliability.
